Tenson's Spring Collection 2011: Colourful and sporty.

Of course Tenson will be an obvious competitor in the market for outdoor/marine life garments. In this collection we have achieved our goal in combining high-quality with design. We have worked flat out with this particular project and the results of our extensive efforts shine through in this collection,’ says Johan Lövqvist, Tenson’s managing director.

Since its foundation in 1951 Tenson has strived to produce garments of high-quality and functionality. Our objectives are to always raise the bar to present better and more technically induced garments. The 2011 Spring Collection sees Tenson present a colourful and sporty collection with the focus on flexibility and design. The lines are developed with several technical materials, stretch for example, to give the wearer maximum comfort and provide the best fit. 

We have attempted to recreate, as well as to rejuvenate, the typical soul of Tenson. This collection sees upgrades of many classic Tenson garments that give a better fit and sportier look to attract both the die-hard Tenson customer and a new, younger consumer,’ says Catharina Carlander, Tenson’s chief designer.

During the 70s Tenson was a market leader in swimwear and marine life apparel where garments for sailors made up a large part of the assortment. This year Tenson presented their first Marine Collection for over thirty years which is an important step in the company’s current investment plans to put Tenson back as market leader in this market. The Marine Collection is proving to be a best-seller and has already sold-out in numerous boutiques.
