Tenson sponsors the Polish biathlon team and Olympic medal hopeful Tomasz Sikora

‘Poland will be a more important market for us in the future and we are working hard to make our brand more visible and accessible once more. Sponsoring actors that suit our brandname are a part of our investment plans and the sponsoring of the Polish biathlon national team was an easy choice to make,’ says Johan Lövqvist, Tenson’s managing director.

Ever since its 1951 foundation in Sweden, Tenson enjoyed a successful export business in Europe. Besides Sweden, Holland, Denmark and Belgium are Tenson’s largest and most important markets. Poland stands today as a small part of the total sales but Tenson’s goal is to increase sales in all markets during the next three years.

‘Tenson was a strong trademark some years ago and we now see a re-interest for the brand. Their winter garments are unbeatable and the clothes are of a very high standard. Garments also have the technical details that sportsmen and women demand. Everyone in the national team are happy with Tenson clothes and we look forward to a continued successful collaboration,’ says Leszek Stelmach, vice-chairman of the Polish Biathlon Federation who hopes to see many of the Polish team on the medals’ podium during the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
