Tenson Team member David Wembrand goes to Alaska!

During the summer of 2010, Tenson team member David Wembrand will embark on an expedition to the Alaskan wilderness to climb the 6,194 meter Mount Denali. David has prepared for the voyage in the minutest detail. David is an adventurer of our time. He’s taken part in the Vasaloppet (a long distance (90 km) cross-country ski race), run marathons, extreme skiing and competed in multi-sports. However, the biggest adventure of his life starts now! The challenge goes under the name of The Seven Summits where the highest peaks of 7 continents will have to be climbed and conquered. Three peaks have already been climbed; Aconcagua in South America, Elbrus in Europe and Kilimanjaro in Africa. In June 2010 awaits the highest peak in North America, Alaska’s Mount Denali as well as the coldest mountain on the planet, Antarctica’s Mount Vinson. Mount Carstenz in Indonesia will also be climbed before finishing off with the summit of the world, Mount Everest. David’s career can’t get higher than that!
